Panama real estate market still going strong
Despite reports of a downturn, Panama’s real estate market is still booming, according to industry professionals.
Those buying include investors, businesses and Venezuelans opposed to political changes in their homeland, the Christian Science Monitor reports.
Officials say 11,000 new housing units will be built in 2007, 99 percent of which have already been sold.
